Your new role:
The position is interesting and varied. Most of the work is involved at client sites around Nelson, including shut down projects. Take responsibility leading a team covering a wide range of service, repair and new build work including;
- Planning and carrying out scheduled maintenance checks.
- Breakdown repairs.
- Machinery installations and upgrades.
What you’ll bring to the role:
- An excellent attitude to health and safety and being fit and healthy.
- Leadership skills that others follow.
- Trade qualification (Fitter / Turner or similar)
- Strong machinery maintenance experience.
- Sound fabrication and welding skills
- Ability to problem solve, providing both short and long-term solutions.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong and effective communication skills.
